Join us on one of the must-visit Polar Express train rides to 'The North Pole'. There is no better experience to get you and your loved ones into the Christmas spirit this festive period. Make it a family outing - or even an early Christmas present for the kids or grandkids!
This popular train ride departs from Leeming Bar Station with the Wensleydale Railway in North Yorkshire, Waverley Station in Edinburgh or Bolton Abbey Station with Empsay & Bolton Abbey Steam in the Yorkshire Dales (depending on which break you choose), and is based on the much-loved children’s book and film by Chris Van Allsberg.
On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the iconic train conductor and given your golden tickets, just like in the film.
Once on board the festive train, you’ll start to hear some familiar songs from the film, and this is where the fun begins. The story of the Polar Express is brought to life, as you meet the characters that you know and love - including the conductor, the singing chefs, the hobo and of course, Father Christmas himself!
Enjoy a hot chocolate and cookie during your festive journey and await the exciting appearance of Santa Claus. Santa will greet you all and present you with the First Gift of Christmas - a beautiful silver sleigh bell.
You’ll create some special memories during this magical experience, packed full of magic and wonder. It’s fun for all the family and is sure to make children “Believe!”.
