For high-octane fun, Goodwood Festival of Speed is a real treat for motorsport fans and the entire family.
Held in the grounds of Goodwood House, the Festival of Speed is a truly unique motorsport event, dubbed the ‘biggest garden party of motorsport’.
It’s the only place in the UK where you can see some of the rarest, greatest, fastest and most ferocious track and road cars ever produced battle it out at full throttle.
If you’re a self-confessed petrolhead, the Festival of Speed is pure heaven. Expect to see everything from pre-war classics, turbocharged Formula One cars and sidecars to motorbikes, powerful trucks and modern supercars!
You get the idea! It’s a mecca of motorsport where anything fast and on wheels can be seen tackling the famous 1.16 mile hill climb in search for one thing – speed!
The Michelin Supercar Run is one of the highlights of the event and features some of the very rarest and most powerful road cars in existence today, whilst nothing compares to the sight and sounds of a Formula One car on the track in the special F1 Run.
The Touring Car shoot-out is also a real thrill, whilst the sight of a modern WRC car charging through the special forest stage is a captivating spectacle.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is also the place to catch a glimpse of the latest prototypes, with many of the world’s leading manufacturers using the event to showcase their newest models.
The great thing about the Goodwood Festival of Speed is that you can get incredibly close to the action and meet your favourite drivers and riders from all corners of the motorsport world, plus special guest celebrities. Chat with Sir Stirling Moss, grab Jenson Button’s autograph or pose for a selfie with Lewis Hamilton!
Other key attractions will include stunt demonstrations, freestyle shows by dedicated display teams and an aerobatic display from the Red Arrows.
